Chris Bowers
Trustee
Chris has been working on KRI for more than a decade. A former UK diplomat, Chris has been working in the private sector. After completed a Masters at King's College on the neuroscience of mental health and is now practising as a CBT therapist privately.
Dr Chinar Osman, MBBS, BSc (Hons), MRCP
Trustee
Dr Osman is a consultant neurologist in the Wessex Neurological Centre, Southampton, UK. Â She is actively involved in research and teaching. Originally from Iraqi Kurdistan. She has helped with humanitarian missions and is a passionate advocate for improving mental health support in KRI.
Dr Ava Doski
Trustee
Dr Ava Doski is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the NHS and private practise. Ava has worked with children and adults with mental health difficulties, neurodevelopment disorders, complex health needs and intellectual disabilities. Dr Doski is skilled in CBT, Systemic Therapy, Theraplay and Cognitive Analytic Therapy.
Dr Olivier Van Den Broucke MBBS BSc, MRCPsych
Trustee
Olivier is a consultant in child and adolescent psychiatry working in the NHS in Hertfordshire. Having studied medicine and qualified as a doctor in London, he trained in psychiatry at the Royal Free Hospital and then the Tavistock Clinic. Â Olivier is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist and specialises in complex mental illness, substance misuse and neurodevelopmental conditions in young people. Olivier is passionate about working in multidisciplinary teams to promote the best possible mental health outcomes and well-being of vulnerable young people within their family.
Dr Nazik Nemat
Specialist Adviser
Dr Nemat, a Senior Clinical Psychologist, has mixed heritage - English and Kurdish. She works in the North east of England, NHS with adults who have long term mental health problems, such as psychosis, trauma, anxiety and depression. Nazik specialises in CBT and is also trained in EMDR. She is currently on maternity leave.
Rosie Khdir
Trustee
Rosie, an Anglo-Kurd with strong roots in Erbil, Iraq, holds an MSc in War and Humanitarianism and has spent over a decade in digital marketing. Now, she’s using her corporate skills to bolster non-profit programs with a humble commitment to making a difference.
